Keith Urban inspires to bring the transition from loneliness to love to life in the music video for “God Whispered Your Name” so he chose two contrasting locations that brought unique challenges. The song was written by James Slater, Shy Carter, Micah Carter, and Chris August. A week after its release, it was his biggest streaming debut to date. As it continues to move up the charts, now comes the release of the song’s official music video, directed by Jennifer Massaux, and aerial drone operator by JJ Trinidad. It perfectly complements a song that as Urban states can mean a lot of things to a lot of different people. “I wanted to first try and capture a sense of isolation, a lonely, dark place, that transitions into light a bit more as the video progresses, which for me is how I found my own world opening up as I went along my journey,” said Urban.
On location in the Mojave Desert. Los Angeles based Drone Pilot JJ Trinidad, says “working with Keith Urban was easy to work with and was such a blast” Using the DJI Inspire 2 with the X7 Super 35mm camera capturing all the epic aerial photography in his latest music video. Just in time for your coronavirus quarantine, Keith Urban’s latest music video with it’s beautiful aerial photography dramatically tells a story of moving from a dark, lonely place to being in the light. Billboard reports that the four-minute visual for Urban’s “God Whispered Your Name,” directed by Jennifer Massaux, was partially shot underneath a Nashville warehouse. “[It’s] literally the darkest, dank and smelly place,” Urban says. “We spent the whole morning there shooting everything that you now see in the first part of the video.” Catch more
