Commercial Real Estate Drone Video in Los Angeles

For a commercial property, the decision to lease or buy is made on more than floor plans. A commercial real estate drone video in Los Angeles shows what a ground photo cannot: traffic flow at the curb, parking at noon, the freeway ramp half a mile away, adjacent tenants and the true scale of the site. It gives a broker, developer or landlord a way to show the property’s real position in the market. SkyeCam flies high-resolution camera drones and heavy-lift rigs carrying cinema cameras to deliver accurate, current footage built for commercial real estate marketing.

SkyeCam is a Los Angeles drone studio founded in 2012 and based in Hollywood. Our crews are FAA Part 107 licensed and insured. We make commercial real estate drone video for brokers, developers, REITs, property managers, leasing teams and architecture firms marketing office, industrial, retail, multifamily and land in Los Angeles. This is aerial video production applied to property marketing.

What we film

Office and mixed-use

For office and mixed-use properties, we film campus flyovers, building entrances, amenity areas and skyline context. We show proximity to transit, parking structures and ground-floor retail. The camera work stays steady and the sequence moves from approach to building to detail, including rooflines and façades that ground shots miss on a standard shoot.

Industrial and logistics

Industrial users need to see dock doors, yard space, truck access and the transportation network around them. We fly at angles that show bay depths, trailer parking and the distance to freeway ramps or rail lines. The goal is to demonstrate that the building can handle the work that will happen there, including turning radii and access to major corridors.

Retail centers

Retail centers depend on visibility, and drone video shows it better than any other format. We shoot the approach from the main road, the center’s position on the corridor, anchor tenant mix, signage visibility, traffic flow and parking patterns. We time the shoot to capture the lot at representative times and show how customers arrive.

Multifamily and hospitality

Multifamily and hospitality properties sell a lifestyle. We film amenity decks, pools, unit stacks and the walkable surroundings that residents and guests actually use. Aerial video demonstrates the relationship between the building, its outdoor spaces and the neighborhood, giving operators and investors a clear view of the product and its competitive position.

Land and development sites

For land and development sites, we document boundaries as marked by the client, the grading progress and neighboring uses that determine value. These flights are often scheduled on a construction timeline, with repeat captures handled through our construction progress documentation service. We record what is there now so future decisions can be measured against it.

Deliverables

Every project includes deliverables sized for today’s commercial property market.

  • A 60 to 90 second edited listing video with titles and licensed music
  • A 15 to 30 second vertical cut for social media and email
  • Orbit and reveal shots as separate clips for brochures and pitch decks
  • High-resolution aerial stills for print and digital use
  • Full raw footage on request
  • Files sized for LoopNet, CoStar, Crexi, websites and offering memorandums

How it works

Commercial real estate drone video FAQ

How much does commercial real estate drone video cost in Los Angeles?

Cost depends on property size, the number of shots, editing time and any permits. We do not publish a flat rate because each listing is different. Call us and we will give you an itemized quote based on your specific needs.

Can you fly near LAX or downtown?

Yes. Most Los Angeles commercial properties sit in controlled airspace near LAX, Burbank, Van Nuys, Long Beach or Santa Monica airports. We hold FAA authorizations and follow the procedures to fly legally. Lead time varies, so check with us before scheduling a shoot.

How long does it take?

The shoot takes one to two hours on site. Editing and delivery usually take a few business days. If you are on a tight deadline, tell us when you call and we will work around it. Most projects turn around in a week.

Can you show the property at night?

Yes. With a night waiver we can capture signage, exterior lighting and how the property reads after dark. Night footage is useful for retail centers and any listing where evening visibility is a selling point. It requires a night authorization, which we handle for you.

Do you provide stills too?

Yes. In addition to video deliverables, we provide high-resolution aerial stills. We also offer a dedicated commercial real estate aerial photography package for clients who need more images for brochures, offering memorandums and listing sites. The stills come from the same flight.

Who owns the footage?

The client receives usage rights for marketing the property. SkyeCam retains portfolio rights unless we agree otherwise. This is the standard arrangement for brokers, developers and production companies. We can grant broader terms if the project requires it, so mention it when you book.
