The Weather Channel, “Strangest Weather on Earth” Season 3 Episode #306 Noisy Nature. Traveling to Bohol province of the Philippines we captured this amazing place of unusual land formations they call Chocolate Hills. There are at least 1,200 hills made of limestone. Shaped like hershey kisses there may be as many as 1,700 spread over an area of more than 20 square miles. The unique land was formed ages ago by the uplift of coral deposits and the action of rain water and erosion. The grassy hills were once coral reefs that erupted from the sea in a massive geologic shift. Wind and water put on the finishing touches over hundreds of thousands of years. Check out LA Drones, Skyecam aerial cinematography of the Chocolate Hills featured by Pioneer Productions.
